I now have seen this Gurinder Chadha film that I wrote about in an earlier blog. I bought a region free DVD player and ordered the DVD from Amazon.uk. Its a very enjoyable film and I think it especially would be a hit with the teen age audience. I don't know why it isn't available here. I think fans of the book will be pleased with the film.
If there are any Doctor Who fans reading this, I also bought the 2008 Christmas Special which has not been shown in the U.S. yet.
